The new Mitsubishi Compact Crossover
Mitsubishi is working to re-align itself in the market place. It wants to be seen as a manufacturer of ‘environment-friendly passenger cars & crossovers’ instead of an SUV focused manufacturer. It sees cars like the i-MiEV, Colt, Lancer, Grandis and Outlander as the future, although it intends remaining in the ‘Authentic off-roader’ segment with cars like the Shogun.
Saab's flagship sedan, the 9-5, is finally getting a dramatic re-do, and pictures are out on the Web in advance of its expected reveal at the Frankfurt motor show. Porsche announced last week that it will recall more than 2,200 Carrera and Carrera 4 911s because internal testing indicated the tailpipe could crack and detach from the rear muffler on vehicles with more than 25,000 miles. Affected vehicles include 2012 and 2013 models built between March 7, 2012 and Nov. 12, 2012.
